Aquarium
Yesterday was a great day. We went to the Dallas Aquarium with Victoria and my friend, Nikki. We had no trouble getting there, it was after we reaized we forgot money that we went looking for a bank downtown and got lost. We kept finding the freeway, but no entry ramps! We called Justin for directions and he was at lunch, so thanks for nothin. Then we called Jamie, Nikki's husband. "Hey pull up mapquest." Laughter. "James Lee Braswell, you stop that laughing and get me out of here." We couldn't pull over because every parking lot was 2 to 5 dollars. So we kept giving him intersections we passed and with one way streets, we winded farther away. "We've got screaming kids who are ready to get out, now where are we, and where are we going?!!!!" Stop laughing. Olive and Elm street. Deep Ellum. Just get us on the freeway! Stop laughing. We made it back on our own, finally and there was a bank right across the street from the aquarium. It was probably on a one-way street going the wrong way anyhow. The aquarium was fun; we wore the kids out and then on our way home, Nikki offered to keep my three kids so I could go shopping or rest and then out to eat with Justin! It was fabulous! We went to Salt Grass for steaks and ordered every desert on the menu! Then we went back over to Nikki's and visited. Jamie took Logan and Victoria to church and Justin went to play basketball feeling like a loaf after stuffing himself at dinner. But he won anyway and scored 8 points. What a great day! This morning was back to normal because I washed all the towels and forgot to dry them. He had to go upstairs and get one of the kid's towels. Sorry but a perfect day does not consist of laundry what-so-ever.

Oh my goodness, your day out was even better than Ferris Buellers!!!! I'm still laughing. I'm glad to hear that you've found some new, "crazy" friends......just be careful. It scares me to think of you ladies with so many kids in your care....on the roads! Love you, Aunt Karen
